NOTRE VISION

Nous pensons que la ville de Bordeaux, avec son rayonnement international, devait honorer à son tour le film minute et le très court-métrage !

Faire très court invite à repenser les questions de narration. Nous pensons que les histoires et la manière de les raconter prime sur les moyens techniques utilisés et que l'on peut raconter beaucoup avec très peu. Nous attendons vos films, touchants, émouvants, percutants, poétiques, étranges, engagés…

Notre festival se veut avant tout un moment convivial dans le but de donner à voir et faire découvrir au public une autre fenêtre du cinéma contemporain et actuel !

We believe hat the city of Bordeaux, with its international artistic influence, should also honor the minute film and the very short film!

Making a very short film forces us to rethink questions of narration. We believe that the stories and the way of telling them take precedence over the technical means used and that one can tell a lot with very little. We expect your shorts films, touching, moving, striking, poetic, strange and committed.

Our festival Bordeaux Shorts Biennale wants to be above all a convivial moment with the aim of giving to see and to make discover to the public another window of the contemporary and current cinema!
